Rayman Origins (Wii) review

Rayman Origins is the game Sonic the Hedgehog should have been 10 years ago.

A one to four player co-operative sidescroller, Rayman Origins owes a lot to Wii-exclusive 2D platformer New Super Mario Bros. Wii.  Where the Mario games have always favored precision platforming, their long time competition, however, the Sonic the Hedgehog series, built itself on a sense of speed and acrobatics.  Rayman takes the Sonic approach to platforming while managing to avoid the issues that plumber fans have always held against Sega’s flagship franchise. Beauty and the Beast 3D Review

Last year, Disney surprised moviegoers by re-releasing one of its most beloved classic movies in the form of The Lion King 3D.  Now, they’re showing their intent to turn a one-off into a trend with Beauty and the Beast 3D.  While a number of factors kept me from re-experiencing the aforementioned Lion King update, Beauty and the Beast left me with the most mixed set of post-film emotions I may have ever known.
